At least 11 people have tragically lost their lives in San Antonio due to heavy storms and flooding, with some individuals still missing, according to authorities. Over 7 inches of rainfall inundated parts of the seventh-largest city in the U.S., leading to the discovery of numerous cars submerged and overturned in a creek.

Official reports indicate that three of the deceased individuals were aged between 28 and 55. Search efforts are concentrated on Beitel Creek, where the missing persons are believed to be located. The swift rise of floodwaters likely caused the vehicles to be swiftly swept off the roads, resulting in over 70 water rescues carried out citywide.
