Angel Reese made history by recording her first triple-double at the age of 23, becoming the second-youngest WNBA player to achieve this feat. Hailey Van Lith shone for the Chicago Sky with a career-high 16 points off the bench, contributing to their impressive 78-66 victory over the Connecticut Sun.

Chicago’s balanced attack saw five players reaching double figures, fueled by Reese’s remarkable 11 assists, more than double her previous career high. The Sky’s bench outscored the Sun reserves 36-2 in a standout performance during the Commissioner’s Cup game. Reese also added 11 points and 13 rebounds to her stellar triple-double performance.

The Chicago Sky (3-7) saw solid contributions across the board, with Kia Nurse scoring 11 points on perfect shooting, Kamilla Cardoso and Ariel Atkins adding 10 points each, and reserve Rachel Banham reaching a career milestone of 300 three-pointers made.
