Additionally, Trump expressed interest in changing the aircraft’s color scheme from light blue to a darker shade, a proposal previously abandoned by President Joe Biden due to potential testing requirements and increased costs. Musk’s involvement in government efficiency initiatives, aimed at reducing government size and spending, has faced criticism.
